A Gaming Laptop for Gene
Gene wants a gaming laptop.If Gene wants top end sound and graphics in his laptop computer and wants to play the newest games anywhere, we are looking at a specialized gaming notebook. These are a best quality laptop, an upper end laptop computer optimized for gaming. Separate speakers or top end earphones are required for best sound. Mobile broadband theoretically supports speeds that are faster than what you can expect most of the time from either cable or DSL, so mobile broadband is an option for Gene. The minimum custom laptop that I saw and would have considered good, if I was still into gaming, was around $2500 from both of the makers I checked. It didn't have the speakers and a lot of bells and whistles that most gamers would want. It can't compete with a top end gaming desktop, but it is faster than what you would need for just about any other use.
