Don't consider a laptop with a worse processor, less memory, or a poorer (less than wxga) video display. The hard drive size is the one thing that you can almost certainly upgrade if you need to, but you have to be sure you can get your OS and other software onto it. Whether you can use the draft n card depends on whether there is a wireless n network is available. Close is good enough for these. An ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 or a Nvidia GeForce 9600GT should be the bottom for acceptable video cards. Any faster card will do. Anything slower won't play the newer games or the more graphic intensive older games.We want to find the computer at a price lower than $1159.99. We can order a Dell for that price. HP doesn't have a video card that I would be sure could play GTA 4 in a 15 to 16 inch laptop. Either traditional retailers, or online only stores may have a better price. Best Buy Computers We are looking for a cheap laptop deal on cheap laptops and notebooks that are as good as the Dell, but we want a better price. We will look for the best laptop deal by starting $100 below the Dell and working down. That would be a best laptop deal. Interestingly, the first one that I see is an HP at $1049.99. The processor is a Core i7 and the video card is faster than any I saw at the HP web site. Them comes an Asus at $999.99. The processor is slower (a Core i5) but the video card is faster. There are other computers that meet our requirements here at lower prices. We have a selection of cheap laptops and notebooks . We can also find a best laptop deal at online retailers. I was doing this exercise at one of the larger online only retailers when I found the computer I recommended on my best deal laptop page.I was searching down from $999.99 and found the Gateway a lot further down in price than I expected. There are cheap laptop deals available more than one way.
